Hi, My thinkpad t410 has started hanging at a times, I ran quick system test. It said, "Smart Short Self Test Failed". Should I replaced the hard drive ?? how can this be fixed?

If it is the OEM HDD that came with the system, call Lenovo and they can send you out a replacement HDD if that is determined to be the issue.

    Not a SSD, it's a 320GB SATA 7200RPM HD

If your HD is going bad—all Lenovo will do is ship you a replacement HD. You can also just get a replacement HD yourself—they’re not expensive.
