    Hey guys, i have a friend selling me a ThinkPad T410 for 500$ Flat.

    Specs.

    T410
    i5-540M
    Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 5700MHD - AMT
    4GB Ram
    320GB 7200 RPM
    Fingerprint Reader
    2.0MP Camera

    Just laptop and Charger. Looks basically new. Checked the Bios and the date showed 7/12/10

    What do you guys think?

    $500 is quite good for a T410, there's not much you can fault with the specs. You may want to check up on the warranty status on the machine as well by checking the serial tag to see how much is outstanding.

    Yeah i was going to check the warranty, so i just look up the serial number on their site? or call them?

    Yeah its in really good condition, like new, only flaw is, it needs a new red mouse cap as its missing. no biggie, their like under 3$ shipped.

    I just purchased a laptop from power notebooks, gaming laptop.
    4GB Ram
    Ati HD 5850
    I5 520M


    But this deal on the T410 is too tempting to pass up, i might just take it and keep both, or resell the T410 :p

    It will be in my possession in 1 Hour :)
    Might be up for sale soon though
    I need a better video card

    Your friend gave you a great deal - congrats! ;)

    I'd say for anything other than 3D CAD work or gaming, the T410's integrated graphics should be fine. 1080p video should work without a hitch.
