    Hello:

I have a Thinkpad T410i, it has the intel integrated graphics and the WXGA+ resolution screen.

This has happened about 5 times over the past month, where the all the colors seem to fade for a few seconds.

    Anyone else have this issue?

    Thanks

I don't know about the T410 or why you only experience it for a few seconds, but with intel integrated graphics, the first thing I'd try is turning off the contrast-lowering power-saving featuring found in the Intel Graphics and Media console.

    Hi,

Even I am facing this issue. I have T410i. The Display color goes pale and dull for 1 to 2 minutes and gets adjusted.

I thought that is only my problem. Now I understand that, it is the problem for all T410i.

Please let me know if you find any Call backs for this through Lenovo to fix it.

    Thanks
    -Krishna

This works for me, and I have the T410 with Switchable Graphics.

    1. Right-click Desktop > Graphics Properties
    2. Power > Power Plans
    3. Change Graphics Power Plan Settings to "On battery"
    4. Change to Balance on Max Performance

I have it on Balance and not a single contrast change for 4 hours of battery use.

Dang, looks like I've been using a workaround.

    Thanks for the patch!
