    Hi Everyone,

I got a used T420s with the b/g/n card. I would like to upgrade to a 6300 card..my question is do the Thinkpad T420s's come with 3 built in antennae?? How do I check that??

    Best,
    PK.

Page 74 of the Hardware Maintenance Manual states:
Therefore the best way to find out what you T420s has got is to take the cover off the RAM compartment and see if there is a white cable parked near the WiFi card.

Note that Lenovo whitelist the WiFi cards in the BIOS. You therefore need to find a Lenovo-branded 6300 card.

what card do you have currently ? I'm sure it's 5xxx of some sort.

I upgraded to 5300 from 4965 and it works very well. Might be from your network settings/wifi drivers ?
