    Thinkpad T43 DVD-RAM

    Hey there

    I can't seem to figure out if the DVD burner that came with my T43 is dual layer or not. Does anyone know?

    It can read DVD+R DL and DVD-RAM, but not write.

    :) It can write, thus "DVD Recordable". I'm trying to figure out if it can write to one layer or two.

    T43s come with the Panasonic UJ-822. It can read and write DVD+R, DVD-R, and DVD-RAM at 2x. It can read dual layer DVDs but cannot burn them. It also burns CDRs at 24x and CDRWs at 10x.
