why would you need a 2nd SSD? get a 1 TB NvME and plug it into existing slot!

    Hi there, Thinkpadders :)

I'm considering jumping back onto the lenovo wagon after a horrible experience with dell... I'm eying a used t480s, and I will be using it primarily to make music, so it's a must that it can handle small audio buffers without hickups, so I can get as close to realtime responsiveness as possible.

Could one of you who own the machine be so kind and run LatencyMon for five minutes, with AC plugged in and wifi disabled?

The software can be found here and it's completely safe:

    Info: https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon

    Download from here: https://www.resplendence.com/downloads

I would love to see a screenshot of the 'drivers' tab of LatencyMon after it has run for 5 minutes!

    Thanks in advance :)

Thread back to life after a long time.....
The more I use my T480s, the more I fall in love with it, especially after numerous BIOS updates by Lenovo which have controlled throttling to a great extent.
The amazing keyboard and paper white matt screen are hall marks of this machine.
