I'm wondering if the price cuts on Intel's Duo Core have taken place... lowering the prices of the T60?

Trying to decide whether to wait for Merom, if it's to be the same price, or to buy the cheapened Duo Cores.

I doubt they will be the same price...but who knows.

The latest Thinkpad deal seems like a good one...

Holy crap... that is a good deal. But I am waiting for the Duo Core 2. I would advise either buying a T60 with a Duo Core 1 right before the release of the Duo Core 2, because prices will be sliced. (Therefore lowering the T60's price.)

Or simply get a Duo Core 2.
