Hi Everybody,
I had recently ordered Thinkpad T60 which will not have any TV-out or S-video out, it only has a VGA out.(i know it before I have ordered, so no regrets on it). But I just curious to find out a solution to hook up my laptop to a TV to watch movies or slide shows etc either through S-video out or composite cables out. I believe this is only forum which has master minds to suggest any technical hardware solution. I request every one to suggest any solutions for this problem.
Thanks in Advance.

I am sorry, I didn't meant that. I forgot to add word "request" before my thread, and i couldn't able to edit the subject, where I want to clearly mean that its seeking a suggestion but not giving the solution. sorry for that.

I tried the VGA>Component cable adapter, didn't work. Hopefully someone one day will come out with a simple PCI express video card that has basic video out and enough grunt to handle movies.

I have done extensive search through various forums and internet. It seems like this is actually the only cost effective solution which actually works (since it doesn't require any drivers). The reviews I found claim quite good quality especially for watching on standard TVs.

BTW, IBM has now solution for TV-Out with T60. This is straight from tabook:
ThinkPad Advanced Dock 47 250310U ann 09/20/05
ThinkPad Advanced Dock supports dual-head graphics adapter
ATI X1300LE 256MB Dual Head/TV-out part number 41U5028
Unfortunately it will cost you over $500.
