Please help me: I own a t61 14.1 inch with the nvidia graphics. My board died and i need to replace it. My warrenty is up tho so it will cost me 425 for them to fix it. My question is would a board from a t61p fit inside of my t61 14.1 inch. The t61p is 15.4 but does that make the board larger. Help please.

    Thank you

The board will have a different port configuration, so it will not fit.

A real shame. Is still your T61 under warranty or did you 'void' it because it was damaged because of the water ?

I take it that you have a T61p 15.4 board? Maybe you can sell it on Ebay, and get money to buy a 14.1?

I would not pay the $425 to get the MOBO replaced. Consider it a loss and get another machine.
