I cannot seem to find a definitive answer to this question so I'd appreciate a response.

Well I have all the drivers I need for my ThinkPad so when it arrives I can do a clean install of Windows XP except...

Lenovo's website seems to have two drivers for the Card Reader for Windows XP:

    1. Ricoh Card Reader
    2. ThinkPad SD Storage and Standard Host Controller Bus Driver

Do I need to install both of them for full compatibility or just the first one?

What exactly does the second one do if I need it?

Also, does anyone running Windows XP have the TPM Driver installed?

    Thanks,

    Hackez

Have you posed this question at thinkpads.com? They have some guys over there that are pretty knowledgeable as well.

my guess is that both are needed for it to run. the first driver actually makes the card reader functional, and the second driver enables the computer to "see" the hardware
