How do I make it boot from usb? In bios under startup->boot I see "-USB HDD" when I have a bootable usb inserted, but it doesn't show up in the boot device menu. I believe its supposed to show "+USB HDD" ?

    Interesting!

I just tried on my Thinkpad X61t and the BIOS does indeed show a plus when a bootable USB device is detected. Maybe you need to try a different USB stick or try format it differently?
