    Hello!

I need to adjust my monitor on laptop a little bit more because it have a worst red applying color that I did not notice on any of new HP laptops.

Did anyone adjust LCD screen using calibrator or something similar.

What are RGB settings which il would apply from nVidia control panel?

    Many thanks!

I take it you didn't order the W510 with the calibration sensor and don't have a sensor from another maker.

You can adjust things manually at Control Panel | All Control Panel Items | Color Management | Advanced tab | Calibrate button.

What you really need is an ICC profile. And in practise, you can only create that with a calibrator and the corresponding software, because it's unique for your display (so other people's profiles, even for the same W510 FHD screens won't work).

As a quick&dirty solution you can also play with some windows/nvidia knobs to turn down the red-ness.

Btw, the too strong reds on my screen calmed down after a few weeks.

    Hello,

I'm all new here and was wondering how can I calibrate my W510 with NO build-in calibration sensor on this laptop?

What are the options I can do to calibrate it?
Budget preferred on these days

    thank You!

One option is to manually calibrate it in Windows 7 (press Start button and type Calibrate display color) or you can use some existing ICC profile that may or may not work in your case. I used to use this profile - see if it makes any difference on your matrix.

    Thanx BlackLion,

I forgot to mention that my W510 is HD+, not the FHD. So that profle you have would not work on mine, right?

And if I have ICC profile [from Mpix.com], how am I suppose to do that?
I thought that I'd have to use some calibrating software, but if the one on Windows does the work I like that idea [$] better :D
