    Thinkpad W700 BSOD reboot problem

    my buddy has a W700 and it all of a sudden started this reboot with blue screen.. i looked on Lenovo's website and they had an update with .iso for hard drives that were having problems.. i burnt the iso and it starts however it says the drives do not need updated firmware. the error i see during the quick blue screen is c000021 then it reboots. i cant read the rest..

    any help on this issue greatly appreciated..

    I've seen a Win7RC system go belly up with boot BSOD's when there was a weird interaction with a Symantec install and the Wifi turned off. Not a Lenovo though.

    Don't know about the error, just offering one possibility in case he did something with Symantec.

    The error seen associated with this is unknown hardware error. Put a disribution disk in and hit "Repair".
