The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Looks great, can't wait until we hear some owner reviews. Thin bezels, smaller footprint, lighter, better battery life, LTE, better ports.. some very nice improvements over Gen 4.

    It's still not available for order on Lenovo's site though, I wonder when it'll be released. This 5th Gen should sell well.

    FWIW, I've got a reply back from Lenovo in Serbia and been told that X1 Carbon in "standard configurations" will be available for order only on April 1st (in Serbia, probably with a Serbian/Croatian/Slovenian keyboard), yet the model I enquired about (WQHD, infrared camera, potentially even without Windows and with Ubuntu pre-installed) will only come late in May. If we assume the same delay of almost two months from base models to the WQHD ones, I guess bigger markets (US, UK, Germany...) will get those models towards the end of March.
