I really want to purchase a new laptop. I am currently running a Samsung NPX900C 15.6" running an ivy bridge i7. I want something that is light for travel, but also can be used like a tablet when in a coach seat and when web surfing while watching tv in a hotel room. The Samsung is a nice laptop but doesn't fit well in coach seats. I think the X1 yoga will fit the bill. I looked at the Surface 4 pro, but you can't downgrade to win7 pro.
The problem is that i have office applications that will not conform to win 10 pro (yet) and thus require win 7 pro currently in order to use.
So what i need to know is what functionality won't work well under win7 pro. Obviously a lot of the features were built around the newer functionality built into win10 and some (i do not know how much) will not work under win 7 pro. I tried to google the question, but did not see anything pertinent. So i am asking for assistance from the community if they know.

As far as I have seen, all the laptop functionality will work fine with 7. Lenovo offers all drivers for win7.
