Hi all, I recently bought an X1E and today I noticed by accident that when the 'H', 'U' and 'I' keys are pressed simultaneously, the laptop gives a 'boop' sound. This sound is affected by system volume and won't play when I mute volume, nor does it occur in Bios or when I try pressing those keys using an external bluetooth keyboard. So that leads me to guess that it's some type of Lenovo hotkey? It doesn't seem to do anything, and I haven't found answers on the internet. So does anyone here know about this or can replicate it on their X1E?

Never mind, I found an old Lenovo article that says the beep in Thinkpad P/W series happens when too many keys are pressed at once. Although it is strange that in my case certain 3-key combinations trigger it and other 3 or more key combinations do not.

@edwd2 you should be able to disable keyboard beeps in BIOS.

I did, works great. That boop was really frustrating when gaming and getting random boops

Amusingly, the keyboard beep when entering BIOS/UEFI during boot is still present. However, entering the UEFI via the Win10 diagnostic menu is silent.
