I tried to search for a similar thread but couldn't.

    I have x200t with SL9400, 128gb S470 ssd, 8gb (4gbx2 1333 samsung ddr3).

the maximum score for the memory is 5.8~5.9

I checked the speed of the memory by using memtest app (Roadkil's Ram Test): the two sticks in vaio Z with arrandale scores 6.9 with 5~6 gb/s of RAM speed.

but in the x200T, it is only 2.xx gb/s of Read/Write speed.

is there any possible cause for the lower score for the 8gb memory?

the tested O/S are Win7 ULT, Pro, Home Premium all being 64bit.

Thanks for your help in advance.

you aren't comparing similar systems.   arrandale has a faster memory bus.   even though the frequency is the same 1066MHz, throughput is different.

5.8~5.9 is a normal memory score on an X200.

thx for ur answer. I was assuming the slower throughput could be an issue but didn't expect it to be that much different.
