Well I am not allowed to post in the news section but I figured this was interesting enough to get a thread over here. Is it wrong that I kinda like it in a strange way?

Aw, snap. We'll be frank -- we didn't have too much hope that the supposedly leaked ThinkPad we spotted over the weekend was a legitimate product, but now that the evidence is mounting, we're finding it difficult to contain our excitement. Two new spy shots of the purported ThinkPad x200e (or ThinkPad x100e) have emerged over in China, and we're being told that Lenovo's not going out of its way to deny their genuineness. Are we really looking at a ThinkPad netbook? And will the Earth really continue to spin if Lenovo deviates from the tried-and-true ThinkPad design that has held things in balance for so long? Color us disquieted.

Well then... if this is confirmed, that there will be a "ThinkPad" netbook, for me it will deffinitely scar what ThinkPads are known for. Jesus, this is amazing how i never would have thought there would be a ThinkPad designed in the image of a netbook, which was mostly designed for the consumer mainstream markets. How, over the long line of the X series, can this be lumped with it? I think it's fine to have another Lenovo netbook that looks like a Lenovo, not a ThinkPad. This is amazing how much they are milking the ThinkPad name, i couldn't bear to watch the name go down the tubes. How come the old T6xx series lower click buttons were retained?

Sometimes it's good to think outside the box.

the x200e stickers on the laptop is just a cardboard cutout sticked on the laptop. Also the keyboard format is wrong. I think it is just some joke. Also Lenovo is not going to bring out a new X200 range, when a new model is coming out next year.

Lenovo also wouldn't be using an e series in the X200, this defeats the purpose and make the X series look cheap. The market position of X series does not have to be economical, it is not a network or the SL/R series.

this looks a SL series shrunk down to X series... don't think this product is real.
