This is the first review for the X220 Tablet that I've seen.
TrustedReviews seems to review Thinkpads before anyone else. They did a reiview on the W701ds dual screen not too long ago too.

Here's TrustedReviews verdict on the X220T. Make sure to check out their review in full though, as they always do thorough reviews.

Their battery tests are fishy (or completely misleading?) to say the least. I easily get 6-8 hours on mine (X200t) with WiFi off. Sandy Bridge CPU should bump this a bit higher given the tests on other SB laptops so far.

Is the weight right? the review says only 1.8kg with a 9 cell. That's 3.96lbs, which is about the same as a X220 with 9 cell. Thought it was heavier.

Hmm... Do you really think the batterylife is so much less than for the x220?

I don't. Maybe the battery test they're running hogs more resources then you'd expect. I think NBR has a much better, and simple one. :)

Even their X200t battery test is WAY off base to what you can expect. I mean if I really wanted to go crazy, I could. :) The X220t is basically almost the same hardware as X220. Can't imagine the battery life would be 50% less due to the tablet digitizer for touch input.

Haha, this looks great to me :)
Guess I'll just have to wait for another test.

The review is pretty inconsistent with its list of available batteries. It mentions 6, 8 and 9 cell at various points. Tabook lists 3, 6 and 6 (slice).

I'll certainly consider getting the tablet over the regular X220, but only if there's no significant loss of battery life.

What else, except of price and battery life, might be a drawback from the tablet over its regular brother?

For X220/X220t no one can (obviously) tell you since neither is available for actual sale.

For X200/X200t I can tell you since I had both. :) I liked X200 keyboard slightly more - I think it was just tiny bit softer, it had 1 more USB port, better battery life (since the screen was completely different) and the CPU was faster. That's about it what I can think of.

I think in this case both the tablet and X220 will be getting standard voltage SB cpus.
