I am looking to order an X220. I was wondering what wireless NIC to pick? I don't need high wireless speed and I do not want to spend any extra if I don't have to. Which is better between 1 and 2?

    Thanks

    Teddy

In practical terms probably not much.

charlieo asked the same question here http://forum.notebookreview.com/lenovo-ibm/571369-x220-wifi-options.html as well.

Basically, if you're planning to share files within your home network, get the 62xx. Otherwise, Wireless-N 1000 is good enough.

My current laptop came with the Wireless-N 1000, but then I found out that the speeds are too slow to do anything useful within my home network. So I had to upgrade it.
