    Thinkpad X220 for college?

    I will be buying a laptop in the next few months and im thinking about getting this laptop. The only negative seems to be that the trackpad is really small. Can anyone comment on this? Also is 12.5" too small? Im not artsy or anything and dont plan on using a big screen for editing although i do watch movies occasionally. Idk maybe ill just buy an external monitor

    If you're a touch-typist it could be worth your time to learn to use the trackpoint. It's much faster than lifting your hands off of the keyboard to move to the trackpad. Plus, it negates the size issue.
