I just bought a x60 tablet without a stylus. The price for one is almost as much as what I paid for the laptop. Will a cheap $1 stylus do or do I need something special?

I think any stylus from a laptop with a Wacom digitizer should work. If I recall correctly my TC4200 pen worked on my x61t, and that pen is the same as the pen for the x200t, and so on and so forth.

I'm seeing genuine pens on eBay for $20, though, what are you looking at?

I see x41 pens for $20 and x60 pens for $40 on ebay when searching "thinkpad stylus". I paid $65 + $13 shipping for my x60.
