This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Thinkpad Z60m with intergrated graphics and DVI

    Hello

    I have the Z60m thinkpad for sometime now, with integrated Intel video.
    I was wondering if anyone would care to give me an answer to this question:
    is there any way to connect it to a widescreen TV using DVI or HDMI (drivers/gizmos) ? I've done some research but no luck.
    The VGA proved to be of a lower quality not to mentioned I cannot get a full HD resolution from the laptop. The advanced dock is said to "not support a DVI for laptops with integrated graphics". It seems I didn't do my homework before I bought it, and assumed, it was advanced enough to match the current technology levels.
