After finally removing some unnecessary protocols in my wireless connection tab. I got my laptop to recognize my desktop PC. I am down to three mystery protocols...

TOC packet Filter (looking this one up)
QOC Packet scheduler (Pretty sure I can remove that)
    and...
    Wireless Intermediate Driver

Is the last one installed by the thinkvantage acess software?

I am on the fence on keep or removing this. Its a little bit nice than the windows wireless software, but is this something that has a lot of benafits over the windows wireless software?
