    Okay; im looking at a Thinkpad, but they seem to be lagging with updating their t60 with c2d.

    Im looking for notebooks in the league of a t60; around a 14 inch screen.
    What i need is solid construction; the little touch-nub-eraser-thing; an awesome keyboard and great battery life (i can purchase extended batteries tho).

    BTW i am in Canada; if that changes anything

    yeah, the T60 won't be updated until end of October with Core 2 so if you can't wait I'd say you should look at the HP nc6400 or Dell Latitude D620 as other options.
