Had a few questions on the thinkpad edge 13
how long does the battery last for a thinkpad edge 13 with the core 2 duo equipped with a 6 cell and 320gb 7200rpm hdd ?
Does the edge share the same power adapter as the x200s ?

I believe the do share an adapter.
I don't know on the battery life. I'd guess between three and four hours, but much will depend on the settings. -
the 13inch comes with the Intel Core2 Duo processor uLV SU7300 (1.3GHz, 3MB L2, 800MHz FSB)
while the 14inch comes with the Intel Core i3-370M Processor (2.40GHz, 3MB L3, 1066MHz FSB)
Are both processors similar in processing power?
I think I read that the i3 is more powerful but the SU7300 purpose is a low voltage processor right?
Please correct me if i am wrong...
The 13inch is actually more expensive than the 14inch.
Is it because its lighter and has a longer battery life that results in this laptop commandinga premium? -
i3 CPU is a regular laptop CPU (normal voltage), the SU7300 is a ultralow voltage one. The former is faster but the latter is more energy efficient.
Portability comes at a price. -

Lenovo ThinkPad
It says that
"The Lenovo Edge 13 kept power consumption to a minimum with its Intel CULV internals. The SU7300 and X4500 integrated graphics were far from power hungry, keeping the system power draw under nine watts while operating off battery power. In our battery test with the screen brightness set to 70%, wireless active, and Windows 7 set to a balanced profile the Edge stayed running for 6 hours and 59 minutes."
but take into the fact that your spec includes a 7200rmp hdd, the battery life should be 10-20 minute less.
Lenovo use the same adaptor for their thinkpad line. (with the exception of the W series) -
you can use the W510 135 watt adapter on all Thinkpads (excluding the W70x), the latest generation thinkpads would pick up the 135 w, other will say 120 w and some will report 90 watt.
