I just put windows 8 on my edge e420 and think I may have overheating issues. While it was on today I started to smell something burning, so I turned it off and unplugged it for an hour. Later I tried running a game for 10 minutes, and noticed that the max temperatures on hw monitor seemed high. I took this screenshot after closing the game, at this point the computer had only been on for like 15 minutes.
Is there a problem here?

The only thing I can think of is that Windows or a certain program is updating in the background while you use your computer. I have a non SP1 Windows 7 disk and right after I install it, it will use 25% of CPU to install and update my system. Since you just installed Windows 8, I wonder if the same thing is happening here....

I didn't yet install Lenovo's drivers and things, I stopped short because system update kept locking the computer up. I wonder if that was causing it, I'm trying to install the drivers one by one now.
