Hi, everybody.
I have been using the T61p for about 2 years and the screen is very dim. Is there any software to measure its brightness?
Thanks and regards

Probably not software, but you could use a photographer's light meter to make comparisons if you're careful about the test conditions. I agree with your assessment that the screen is very dim. I have not been able to use my T61 outdoors. My wife's SL410, with LED backlight, is much better. It is bright enough to use outdoors, in the shade, even with the bright ambient light that we have here.

Thanks, PDTH. I am actually planning to buy amother screen, LP154WE2 to be exact, that is used in some T500. Hope it will be better

I have a T61p that came with an LG LP154W02-TL06 screen. I find the LCD is decent but could be brighter. Is the LP154WE2 much brighter? Are there any LED screens that would fit the T61p?

Actually both screens are of the same brightness, 200 nit. Another option is LP154WP1 that is 250 nit and 120/160 viewing angles as of vertical and horizontal. But it is 1440Х900. Though I thik cable should think as there is downgrade in resolution

... the cable should fit

Where do you find the exact info on the screen? I took a look at my new T400 and it says supplier is Lenovo; Where do I find the code?
