    Hi!
I've a problem which apparently was addressed 2 years ago in the forum:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/lenovo/500956-thinkpad-wont-wake-up-suspend-sleep.html
Topic was closed without proper solution :(

I've experienced the same issue with a T410, tried the BIOS settings, ensured I had the latest video drivers. No luck, the problem occurs sometimes, unexpectedly.

I'm running XP, others had this very same issue on Vista and Win7.My personal opinion is that it is linked to NVIDIA.

I decided to post this in order to know whether some of you have a permanent solution.??

And I wanted to share with you a workaround in order not to waste your windows session and work on your desktop. When you wake up the laptop from sleep/suspend, although the HDD and SW is running properly only the screen remains black (not turned on). My tip is the following: press Fn+F4(sleep) and it will sleep again. Then wake it up and normally the screen will turn on.

    cheers,

    B.
