This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Thinkpad scroller acting funny

    I have a T61. When I use the middle button to scroll, it doesn't use the Ultranav scroller, and as a result, I can't scroll in a lot of the applications I used to be able to scroll through.

    When I scroll through Firefox, I get the arrow symbol and then it scrolls even when I let go of the button, and it gets really annoying. If I restart my computer, the old ultranav scroller works fine, but only for a bit, and then this weird scroller starts happening again.

    PS. The touchpad scroller behaves like it's supposed to

    Have you confirmed your settings in the Control Panel > Mouse?
