I was just wondering if it would be ok to get a sleeve for an r52 14.1". But i wanted to use it in conjunction with the ibm premiere leather case.
Is this possible? Or is this not a good idea? Please advise.![]()

Hell yes it's possible. In fact, you'll want to see if there's a small aluminum suitcase in which you can then fit the leather case.
j/k I actually I used to go double duty myself- notebook in neoprene sleeve, all inside a bigger case. Ridiculous overkill. That lasted maybe a month before it was case only, then neoprene sleeve only... then dumped in bakcpack commando style. -
So what neoprene sleeve do you recommend?

Waterfield SleeveCases from SFBags are excellent in quality and design.

Thanks all.
I just wanted to confirm thoough, that I will not have any trouble fitting this 14.1" R52 in a sleeve, then in an IBM premiere leather case.
At the moment I have no case, thinkpad, or anything else. Nor have I in the past either, so I am buying blindly and just did not want to make a mistake. -
Mine were both sony sleeves, one 13.3", one 15.4". I don't think the tp appreciated being dressed like that.
Anyways I'd go w/something sturdier if you get a sleeve, b/c my prediction- you get a sleeve, that's all you'll be using. In which case you'll probably want something a little better than neoprene. Might as well go w/a shinza or sumdex.
Thinkpad sleeve ... good idea?
