The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Not sure if this should go here or Linux questions, but anyway...

    Anyone know how to get some of the special Thinkpad keys working in Ubuntu? Currently 7.04 but will probably upgrade soon, laptop is a T43. Number one I want is the center scroll key above the touchpad. The back and forward keys by the arrows would be nice too.

    I don't have an Input Device --> Configured mouse, I think I got rid of that when I got my MX1000 working. My Input Devices are the generic keyboard, the MX1000, and 3 wacom entries
