    Hi, which is a more durable laptop. The Thinkpad line or Elitebook HP line?

    I'd say that both series are durable enough for normal daily use.

    I think most laptops even a MBP is strong enough for standard daily use. :)

    Never used a Elitebook so I can't talk about that, as for the W530 or Thinkpad range, they are generally built tough. I use mine for business (Airline travel etc), it gets thrown around a bit and stands up to the abuse. I would worry most about the HDD when it comes to shock.

    It's nice to have a laptop which you know is made strong and can handle some abuse.

    What is it you intend to use it for?
