Although the tech specs state that the thinkpad w510 has a FHD(1920x1080), and there is no option when configuring the computer on the Lenovo site.

Also, is the blu-ray driver sold separately? External or internal?

I believe Lenovo have temporarily removed the FHD option from the CTO T510 and W510 models due to a supply shortage. Since they would be unable to fulfill the orders in a timely manner, they are not selling that option at the moment until such time as they can fulfill all the outstanding FHD orders first. The option should return at some point, though I'm not sure when. You may notice Dell does this type of thing quite often too--they're always tweaking what options are available when you build a system.

As for the Blu-ray--I don't have a clue.

I was wondering the same thing about the FHD screen...

Does anyone remember how much that option cost? I saw tech sites saying its an extra 200?

Yes, had to order one without...
Do you know if there's a way to purchase the screen separately later on and replace it? I'd definitely do it if not too costly and doesn't voidt the warranty.
