I've seen refurbs of this model for around $400 and wondering if any users can post about their experiences with it - is this too legacy to consider buying? I'm just looking for a sturdy built ultra portable with a decent screen and great keyboard to replace my abysmal 8" asus netbook. I also own a T400.

    Thanks.

refurb X60 costs 400 dollars? in USA? i won't pay anything more than 300 USD for A1 example.

Either X60 or a X61 with the Penryn CPU (T8xxx or T9xxx) CPU is good.

The X60 is still a great netbook alternative, i use it a lot when i don't want to lug the X200 around. It is not that slow.. you can't run the 64 bit OS on it though unless you have T5xxx/T7xxx CPU on it (in which case then you should look for T8xxx or T9xxx X61).

Yeah, $400 is too much for a T2400.
