I need to buy a new ThinkPad. For memory, what are the benefits of choosing

    PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz SODIMM Memory?

Do I have to select specific CPU, Hard drive, etc. in order to have these benefits?

    Thanks!

What model are you looking at? Unless your memory controller supports 1333MHz memory, it won't run at full speed. Then again, even if it does run at full speed, you won't notice much of a difference between 1333MHz and 1066MHz...

The T500 does not support PC3-10600 RAM, so there's no point. Maximum speed supported by the T500 is PC3-8500, running at 1066MHz.
