My brand new T60 Widescreen was updated to Vista Ultimate in order to properly network as with XP Pro..or so went my thinking (or lack thereof) and now I get a compatibility message regading Thinkvantage Power controll and this version of Windows, upon start-up...

When I don't select Run Program I have no Thinvantage Utilities menu...and I can't seem to download the correct fix from Lenovo....any help is greatly appreciated.

I think I missed the problem here. Are you saying all ThinkVantage software doesn't work? And what specifically do you mean by this:

I remember getting the same warning, but each time I ignored it and let it run, with no obvious issues. I remember reading on the Lenovo website that there are some problems with the power manager, mainly due to the underlying changes in Vista (e.g. pulling out a USB device would wake the computer from standby)

Now, why not allowing it to run would break the ThinkVantage Utility I can't really say, seems kind of odd...
