Does anyone know how to use the Thinkvantage software (prolly Client Security Solution) to password-protect a folder?![]()

You can create a SafeGuard PrivateDisk in the Client Security Solution under Data Protection. That'll create a virtual drive running from an encrypted file.

Thanks for the reply.
However, when I open the ThinkVantage Productivity Center -> ThinkVantage Technologies -> Client Security Solution, there is no "Data Protection" option.
There are only 5 tabs at left, beginning with "Enhanced Security", then "Password Recovery", "Password Manager", "Security Advisor", and finally "Fingerprint". -
found the answer, client security solution 8.0 does not support PrivateDisk.
