Hi,
On my X61, under XP, I had the option to view the wattage in the taskbar
![]()
Now I switched to win7 RC1 and with the powermanager v2, this option doesn't exist anymore (yes I can go to advanced batteries option but I want it in the taskbar)
Problem was related here:

however the answer doesn't apply with the V2 of the powermanager
Thank's!

Charles,
I've seen similar questions. The drivers that are available now are just prototypes. Every thing will be finished near the date that Windows 7 goes on sale.

Actually this is more related to the fact that since version 2 of the power manager, the wattage in the taskbar seems not to be present. It was also the case under Vista with people using version 1.5 & more of it. The driver works great, wattage is shown in advance properties, there is not problem to fetch the data, just to present it.
I'm looking for a hack just like the registry hack of version 1.5 which doesn't work anymore :-(
Thinkvantage 2 wattage in taskbar
