    Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to install the ThinkPad Thinkvantage Power Manager to Lenovo 3000 series notebooks?

Before you say no due the supported models info written on Lenovo's website, I can tell you the info is not always accurate. For example, I have the 3000 Y310a, and it does support and come with the Thinkvantage Active Protection System, if you go to the IdeaPad website, you can see the info there too. But if you look at the ThinkVantage Technologies site, Y310a is not under the supported models list of APS.

Anyway, I like the Custom Charge thresholds feature in the Thinkvantage Power Manager, just wondering if anyone has tried to install this on Lenovo notebooks other than ThinkPads?

    Thanks.

Nevermind, I just tried, it lets you install it, but it can't detect my battery, so the answer is no. :p
