I received my Thinkpad T60 today. I ordered it on the 5th of September. I am very happy with it.
It came with so many softwares that I even never heard of before. I am wondering whether to keep or clean some of the junks that I do not need.
What is the use of vital source technologies software? It sits on my hard drive taking about 3 Gigabyte of space.
Any information will be appreciated.

I am a huge fan of the VitalSource software! Not only does it have free reference works (e.g. a pretty good free dictionary), but I discovered last night that it has a bunch of the most famous paintings in the world on it -- try searching on an artist's name!
I'm in the humanities, so I'm sure that others won't find it as cool as I do. But I thought I'd put in a plug for it.

Nice to see another Humanities major here. Looks like most hardcore computer folk are techies =) I guess that's understandable. I'm Mathematics myself...though English to make it a double. And at a private souther university as well. Word.
Now if only I had a T60 myself...
On topic, if you want to do a clean install of XP you can, and then download Software Installer from Lenovo and get back all the IBM stuff you want/need. -
Hey congrats! I just got mine as well. Must've been a busy weekend in HK. Where do you see the Vital Source software? I'm a Poli Sci major- that stuff sounds like it would be helpful...

Just got mine too, but not direct from Lenovo. I'm so glad I got the 15", the extra size is hardly noticeable, but the Flexview is divine!
I planned to do a review, but I just couldn't stand Windows for long enough. Ubuntu is going on right now, and even in the live CD I'm getting 95% wireless reception whereas Windows was getting 55%-85%, and was completely destroying the reception for other devices.
