I recovered Win7 using the system restoration disk. Then after a few days, Windows pops-up a message, saying I am running non-genuine version.
Why did this happen?
I created two copies of recovery media from the machine and I am not so sure which one I used. Was this the reason?
Shall I contact Lenovo telling them this or shall I just need to 'restore' again?

Lenovo will tell you to contact Microsoft, which is the route I'd take...
I've never had this happen in all the years that I've been dealing with ThinkPads. Then again, I don't have a T530 and am clueless about the BIOS SLiC setup on it.
Good luck. -
What version BIOS are you running on the T530? There is a known bug that occasionally Windows 7 may fail to activate properly even when using System Recovery, this was fixed with BIOS version 2.52.

ThinkPad factory recovery media creation software allows the owner to create media once and only once.
In any event, if you're using Windows 7, you should have the COA key. I sometimes do a repair with a Windows 7 installation disc. -

Try the coa key, if that doesn't work, just call Microsoft.

yea use the key to reactivate if it doesnt work use the phone method!
lol you can create 2... once you restore from your first set the system will have the recovery partition restored as well which you can create second set. -

Due to having taken a clone before I run the Lenovo recovery tool, I can revert to the Acronis clone and create another recovery disc again and again. -
This happened to me as well. I called Microsoft and they had me do a repair. After it did not work, they simply gave me another license number.
