    Hi all,

First remove the power cord and the battery close the lid, and put your W700 in the middle of your desk.
    <O:p</O:p
Then get a long handle sledgehammer and step back, and raise the sledgehammer over your head then beat your W700 with the sledgehammer repeatedly until you feel better.<O:p</O:p

    <O:p</O:p
    Then you’re done…

    I am done with stinkpads
    <O:p</O:p

    <O:p</O:p
    lol :) I Feel Better don't you...

    I hope this helps<O:p</O:p

    Hi hding,

I haven’t smashed it up yet, that's what I want to do to it.

This thing has never worked right from day one. It’s in Lenovo repair again
they have no idea what’s wrong with it. <O:p</O:p

when did you first had it? how many times has that thing been through the repairs? what's wrong?

I am just curious, you don't need to answer if you don't feel like to.

    Funny :p
I smashed my old R40 many years ago, it didn't help and the only result was a dead HDD, the system survived and still serves me well.
I'm sorry, my dear friend R40,...forgive me... :(

    Hi hding,

Just over a year its ben in repair 4 times I think, I would have to look at my paper work.<O:p</O:p
I do have a 1 factory warranty +3 year warranty, big deal if they can’t fix it…

    <O:p</O:p
    <O:p</O:p
I think it’s the motherboard, CPU, and graphics card

I think when they put this thing together, something happened to the motherboard…<O:p</O:p

you should start negotiating with LENOVO to get a replacement. I don't think every W700 have the same problem you had. Most of them should be fine.

    This thread is useless...

You could at least state what issues you've had or how your experience with Lenovo customer service has been.

    Hi jaredy,

Ok, this is a thread that I started on Lenovo's forum.
Good Deal or Not, there are video links for you to watch that will explain every thing

I have had nothing but problems with my W700. You need to watch my first

    http://www.screencast.com/t/YTQ5MGFlYTc

This is after the system came back from Lenovo repair on 2/27/2010
And my second video on the LiveKernelEvent: on 3/01/2010

    http://www.screencast.com/t/MWRlZjVjYT

And you may find the System Temps interesting. These temps are after the
    system failed on 3/01/2010:

    http://www.screencast.com/t/MWQwYTJhY

To this day Lenovo’s ISV drivers for AutoCAD are for AutoCAD 2008 – 2009
and it’s for windows XP 32bit. My system is a 64bit; I have AutoCAD 2010,
and AutoCAD 2011 will be out soon. I need to be able to upgrade to whatever
version of AutoCAD my customers are using, and these drivers will never
    work for this system.

    Click the link below:
    http://www.screencast.com/t/OGM0ODA3Nj
    <O:p</O:p
    <O:p</O:p

What do you think; Motherboard, CPU, and or Graphics Card, Problem or
    all of the above?

And If you need more information just let me know…<O:p</O:p

I encourage posters to report both good and bad experiences with Lenovo machines and customer support, but in either case, give good background information and leave strong inflammatory remarks out. If you want members to help you out, make sure you give them enough information for them to do so effectively.

In the interest of keeping bickering and pointless posts off the forum, I am closing this thread.

@OP: if you would like to seek members' advice, create a new thread with a more appropriate title about your experience and provide relevant information.

On a side note, there's no need to insert so many new lines every phrase - doing so makes it much more difficult for someone reading the forum on a screen with limited vertical resolution.

    Thank you.
