I just did a clean install of windows xp pro on an ibm thinkpad r60.
I use a new xp cd and not the ibm recovery junk.
I didn't want thinkvantage so I just installed xp and got the drivers off lenovo's site.
I have everything installed except 1 unknown device.
However my wireless abg and bluetooth devices aren't working properly.
I installed the drivers and when I go to device manager it shows them installed under the appropriate list but they have a little yellow notification symbols and they both say code 10- the device cannot start.

So my 2 problems are- Why do I get code 10 on my pci devices that the wireless and bluetooth are plugged into?
What is the unknown device that I need to install the drivers for?(Maybe the quick launch buttons)?

Thanks if anyone knows what the problem is and can help me.

My guess for the unknown device would be either the TPM driver or the power management driver. Did you save the SWTools folder from the machine? Don't know why it's not working. Could try re-seating the card.

Yes, I have reseated it numerous times.
    I've reinstalled drivers many times.
I'll try finding tpm drivers for the r60 and who knows?
It might fix everything :D (Wishful thinking ;)
