If not a heavy gamer, you may want to weigh carefully the video card...the Quadro FX 570M will be overkill unless there's some games you need to play that will not run on the lower end video chips...what games do you play? The latest and greatest? Maybe someone can give you input on whether the games you want to play will run on the Integrated video but maybe the T61 15.4's offering of a Quadro NVS 140M will be enough to play what you want to play, while being a little cheaper.

The other consideration is that a higher end video chip will likely reduce your battery life...the reviews that have been published citing poorer battery life for the T61 were often equipped with the higher end nVidia video chip, but an integrated solution (the Intel X3100) does better in this regard and will be more than sufficient for your business work. I would just weigh this carefully.

Also, any particular reason you are getting Vista Ultimate? Ultimate is pretty expensive, and I would not encourage getting it unless there is a specific need to have its features...I ended up getting Vista Ultimate myself because I wanted to have the "home" features like Media Center, Parental Controls, etc but I also wanted to have the mobile features of Business (like offline files). Ultimate is basically the mesh of both Home Premium and Business, with just a few other extras (like the BitLocker Drive Encryption).

i want a 14" regular screen. I used to game, stopped a while ago. I will be playing the latest games, but I don't consider myself a regular gamer - once in a while is when I will play them.

you can save a lot of money by upgrading to 4gb RAM yourself, and it's not that hard to upgrade it.

The OS seems overkill, but everything else looks fine.
