This 2 day sale seems pretty sweet at the Lenovo website. All I need is general use, good battery and the ability for it to run WoW.

    Thanks for any responses.

been considering that laptop as well as the y560p. But I was soon driven away after hearing about the hinge problems as well as the overall bad build quality. I really need something that can last me.

Yea man, think about it, the pricing is, in all honesty, way too good for the specs that it has, don't you think? Thinkpad is much more expensive because it will actually last you. You pay for what you get I guess. Here's another laptop to consider: Sager np5160. With the way I configged it, it has 2nd gen i7 2630qm, 500gb hard drive, 8gb ram and geforce gt 540m gpu. It will run what you want to run. The best part is, the durability as well as customer service is in general well done. I foresee 5 years of life out of it. Price comes out to be barely over $900 which isn't that much more expensive than those ideapads.
