This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    $1600 is way overpriced unless you are located outside of North America. Even Lenovo.com offers cheaper prices with coupons. I'd look into some top rated Ebay resellers as well. With a similar configuration including SSD and a 3 yr warranty, you can get it around 1200 or a bit more.

    Also check/stalk cdw outlet- they have the best prices that I have seen on thinkpads, though you have to add both tax and shipping (prices on items reduce every week or so until they are sold)
