To all TP Edge 13 users - screen quality question

A warm hello to all Notebookreview members as this is my first posting on this great forum.

I am currently on the verge between taking a 600eur 2009 DM3 and the above mentioned ThinkPad Edge 13, ~550eur, both SU7300.

I have reviewed all the pros and cons of the two machines, however one question remains obscure to me as it is virtually impossible to see the Edge live in Italy, where I am now (a highly unpopular manufacturer in this country, for whatever reason it could be).

I would love to get some 13inch Edge users' feedback on its display quality. The viewing angles or brightness don't matter to me as much as the general color reproduction - I need the screen to represent crisp, vivid and vibrant colours. However, I have already found several reviews that state some colors on the TP edge look quite washed out. I know for a fact the dms3's display is excellent, but I still like the Edge for some other qualities (keyboard, touchpad, build quality) and that's why I'm considering it. Nevertheless, the screen's performance is vital to me so if it really sucks, it is going to be the ultimate dealbreaker.

Any input from the users or anyone who has seen and can comment one the Edge's display, especially compared to other computers, is highly appreciated.
