To cancel or not to cancel

Well, I have an X201s order which got delayed from the 04/22/10 to the 05/10/10

what are the chances it will get shipped on the 05/10/10 ?

I've found a similar model on Amazon

should I cancel and order from them?
does the 514328U has a tuchpad+fingerprint?

there's no way to tell when it will ship
there's no way to give you a percentage chance
it could ship on 5/10
it could just as easily ship tomorrow
it could just as easily ship in August
with lenovo, the only reliable date is the day it arrives on your doorstep
if you're that trigger happy and the machine from amazon fits your needs, it might be a good choice for you

 

Typically they ship the day after you phone up and cancel.

 

LOL. That's exactly what happened to me! Their sales rep claimed it would take 2 business days to process the cancellation request and they would not send any confirmation emails, yet 2 days later they shipped it out. Their customer service for handling orders is like non-exist at best

You'd better call them early and keep calling, or you might end up with 2 laptops at the end. Oh, wait, that may not be a bad thing after all

 

I say if the one on Amazon is close in price, get it.
