I noticed today that my lcd/lid of my t500 is warping. it's not perfectly straight and maybe just at the bottom because i can't notice it up top.

It's not very noticable and not bothersome, but it has gotten to the point where the bottom of my front LCD has a crack that runs along the bottom. a crack that is obviously due to spliting as if you take a strip of plastic and bend it.

I'm wondering how i should go about repairing it, should i call lenovo and ask them to send me a new front bezel, but what if this problem occures again, would i have to get my laptop replaced (i wouldn't mind since class is over and summer is here, a new laptop couldn't hurt....hope not refurbished)?

Any idea, i feel that replacing a bezel shouldn't be that hard, just how to make sure that it doesn't happen again. and it might void my warranty (still under my initial one year warranty!)

I will post some pictures to show what i mean.

you will have send it in for repair or a technician will come to your house to repair, depending on the warranty type you have. They can't send you the parts for you to repair it yourself.

You better do it quick before it damages your LCD and then you'll have more trouble with lenovo.

Of course do it while under warranty!
